Warranty, Returns, and Refund Policy

Applies to: All Direct Sound and Direxound branded products purchased directly or through an authorized reseller.
1. Our Commitment to Quality
At Direct Sound, we stand behind every product we make. Each of our headphones and microphones are designed for exceptional reliability, repairability, and sound quality. If something goes wrong due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will make it right.
2. Warranty Coverage
Standard Warranty – One Year
All Direct Sound products are covered by a one-year limited warranty beginning on the original date of purchase.

Extended Warranty – Three Years (Free Registration with Data Consent)
If you register your new product within 30 days of purchase, your coverage is automatically extended to three (3) years at no additional cost. Registration can be completed at: www.DirectSoundProAudio.com/register

By registering for the extended warranty, you agree that Direct Sound, LLC may retain and use the information you provide for the full term of the warranty and thereafter for internal recordkeeping, customer support, and product improvement purposes.
You also acknowledge that registration for the extended warranty constitutes a waiver of Direct Sound’s standard Privacy Policy as it relates to data deletion or marketing restrictions, and you consent to receive marketing materials, product updates, and promotional offers from Direct Sound, LLC.

Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and you may opt out of Direct Sound marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting privacy@DirectSoundProAudio.com.

Place of purchase (authorized reseller or Direct Sound)

3. What’s Covered
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a valid claim is received within the applicable period, Direct Sound will, at its discretion:

Repair the product using new or refurbished parts,

Replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished model, or
-
Provide a refund (full or partial) in exchange for the return of the defective product.

Provide replacement parts to the customer for an authorized repair.

4. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect

Normal wear and tear (including pads, cables, or cosmetic wear)
-
Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
-
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or resellers
-
Shipping damage (unless caused by Direct Sound)
Any repair or modification performed by an unauthorized party voids this warranty.

5. Warranty Claim Process
If you believe your product qualifies for warranty service:

Provide proof of purchase and product details.

Our support team will confirm eligibility and issue instructions for repair, replacement, or return.
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for shipping the product to Direct Sound’s Service Center.

Processing Time
Most warranty claims are processed within 10 business days after receipt of the product.

6. Limitation of Liability
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Direct Sound. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Direct Sound disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Direct Sound’s total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Direct Sound is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of data, or loss of profits.

7. Your Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have additional rights that vary by state, province, or country. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.

8. Data Privacy and Registration
When you register your product or contact customer support, Direct Sound may collect limited personal information such as your name, contact details, and product information.
We use this data only to:

Verify warranty eligibility and provide service,

Improve product support and quality, and

Notify you about safety or service-related updates.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. All data is handled in accordance with the Direct Sound Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including the GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA.

9. Return & Refund Policy
Direct Sound is committed to your satisfaction. If you purchased directly from DirectSoundProAudio.com, you may return your item within 30 days of receipt for a refund, replacement, or repair. Returned items must be in their original condition with all packaging and accessories. Customers are responsible for return shipping. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of approval.

Products covered by our Warranty Policy should follow the warranty process for service or replacement. To request a return, contact CustomerSupport@DirectSoundProAudio.com with your order number and reason for return. Personal information collected in connection with returns will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Statement.

This policy applies only to purchases made directly from Direct Sound. Purchases through authorized resellers must follow the reseller’s return policy.

10. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri.
